The Better Business Awards has today expanded its program to include a Best Broker Group category, which will acknowledge the top broker operation in each state.
The Best Broker Group award will give valuable visibility to the organisations that provide the best overall proposition to their clients, as well as to their brokers on a state-by-state basis. This will give groups that ordinarily don’t receive recognition in the national arena the opportunity to stand toe to toe with major players within their own state.

According to Jim Hall, publisher of The Adviser, this new category will recognise all groups whether franchised, licensed or independent, and will focus on efficiency rather than size.
“The winner of this category won’t necessarily be the biggest group, it will really come down to a group - big or small - that has achieved growth but who has also managed to improve efficiency,” Mr Hall said.
Nominations close on Friday 1 November but don’t delay, as the sooner you enter your nomination, the more time you will have to prepare submissions.

Partnered by Nab Broker, the Better Business Awards is the first universal industry awards program for state-based performance and will recognise the top-performing brokers and brokerages in each state.
Winners will be announced at the Better Business Awards state dinners in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth between 20 February and 20 March next year.
