After a successful but limited ‘soft launch’, the FBAA yesterday released its industry first app to brokers and the wider public.
FBAA chief executive officer Peter White said while some brokers across Australia with Android devices have already downloaded it, now iPhone users have access too.

The app includes several calculators, including a mortgage calculator, a stamp duty calculator and a leasing calculator, as well as information about FBAA news and events.
Mr White said he expects not just brokers but those with a mortgage and those looking to secure a loan to embrace the new technology.
"For the first time, we are empowering the public so they can calculate stamp duty and possible repayments the moment they view a property,” Mr White said.
"It will also help homebuyers find their closest FBAA member, so we encourage our members across Australia to recommend it to their clients.
"It’s important that in this instant world, people have information available when they need it, and this app gives them the information and calculators they need,” he said
