ME Bank’s group executive sales, Angela Middleton, said Mr Pelaccia’s appointment will see him be responsible for developing and executing the company’s mortgage broker strategy over the next three years.
“The new role comes at a critically important time as we seek to aggressively grow our home loan settlements in a highly competitive environment,” Ms Middleton said.
“ME Bank’s broker channel has developed an excellent reputation since entering the mortgage broker channel in November 2011 – its fair ethos, record low home loan rates and professional service is striking a chord with brokers. I’m excited to build on this and accelerate further broker sales records for ME Bank.”
