National Finance Brokers Day is designed specifically for brokers, targeting the roles they play in the finance space.
Mr Pacella said he has been overwhelmed by the support received from the industry since announcing the initiative in July.
“We have discussed video presentations, social media utilisation, online education and marketing and all the great ways we can promote the benefits of the broker channel and maximise our customer reach,” he said.
“What is most important is that we are all on the same page whether it be brokers, BDMs, aggregators and lenders. This ensures the industry owns NFBD and not any one person or group.”
The day appears to be gaining more traction, with close to 600 ‘likes’ on the NFBD Facebook page.
“What is even better is the comments we are getting from brokers on how to best make the day work. This is what it is all about, getting feedback and listening to ideas from those at the coalface who have first-hand experience,” Mr Pacella added.
