Broker-agent referral app generating thousands of leads

An app that streamlines the referral process between real estate agents and brokers is gaining significant momentum with the real estate and finance industry.

The app was launched by Loan Market and is the brainchild of one of the group’s top brokers.

Developed by AppCloud, the eBroker app became available to Loan Market brokers nationally in May and has seen 225 brokers sign up to the program and more than 3,400 leads captured.

Loan Market’s Sam White said eBroker was designed in an attempt to simplify and streamline referral processes and was the initiative of Loan Market broker Josh Bartlett.

“Josh recognised a need within his business and worked with AppCloud to come up with a solution that is now available to our entire network,” he said.

“The eBroker app allows our brokers to better manage their leads and referral partnerships. The program allows referrers to keep track of all leads and most importantly ensures our brokers are on top of all their leads.”

Mr White said the process for the app is simple: a referral partner logs in and enters the lead details. The broker receives an automatic SMS letting them know there’s a lead to contact. The referrers then receive a confirmation once Loan Market have made contact with the client.

The broker can also keep the referrer informed of each stage of the loan, should the client allow this.

Mr Bartlett said the idea came when he first began as a broker four years ago.

“Starting out, a lot of brokers don’t have a support team behind them to help manage the daily admin of business. Before I grew my team I needed support. My capacity was increasing and my referral partnerships growing but I couldn’t keep up with the admin,” Mr Bartlett said.

“The eBroker app was essentially my first assistant. It helped me keep on top of all my leads and it provided a greater and more transparent service to my referral partners which in turn strengthened those relationships,” he said.

Mr White said the app allows more brokers to to cement their relationships with their referral partners, particularly within Ray White.

“The first step in any referral partnership is building trust,” he said,

“The eBroker app is playing a big role in earning that trust with Ray White agents because the leads given to our brokers become 100 per cent trackable throughout the whole sales process.”
