Established in 2009, the Australian Magazine Awards seeks to recognise brands that perform at the highest level for publishers, advertisers and readers.
The competition is stiff this year, and for top honours the Better Business Summit is not only pegged against the 2015 TV Week Logie Awards, but also against Vogue Fashion's Night Out and The Australian Women’s Weekly's Women of the Future 2014.
Alex Whitlock, director and group publisher, said he is encouraged by the nomination.
“That The Adviser's Better Business Summit has been selected to go toe-to-toe for top honours in such elite company reinforces the strength of the brand in connecting with the industry and engaging with its target audience,” he said.
“It also goes to show that the third-party channel remains an exciting and vibrant space to be in. It underpins the strength of the nation’s economy and plays its part in getting more Australians into more homes, more often."
This nomination comes hot on the heels of the Better Business Awards being named the Business Event of the Year at this year’s Publish Awards (previously the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards) in Sydney last week.
The winner will be announced on Friday 13 November.
