James Mitchell, managing editor of mortgages and real estate at Sterling Publishing, expressed his excitement at the level of enthusiasm for this year’s event.
“A lot has happened in this industry since last year’s Better Business Summit and brokers are clearly keen to attend the event once again to sharpen their skills and network with their peers,” Mr Mitchell said.
“The agenda is action-packed this year. Brokers will be able to take away crucial advice and information after hearing from speakers like Tom Panos, Mark Bouris and Bernard Salt. The broker panels are also a big hit each year and provide a great opportunity to discuss the biggest issues affecting the industry.
“I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone at the first event in Brisbane next week,” he said.
Now in its third year, The Adviser’s Better Business Summit has set the standard for delivering the best insights from the sharpest minds in Australian business.
This premier event has taken out the top gong at one of Australia’s most established awards ceremonies, winning the Business Event of the Year title at the Publish Awards (previously the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards) in October 2015.
The Adviser’s Better Business Awards will commence following the summit conference, acknowledging those brokers who are driving the industry forward with the most effective businesses, talented teams, marketing strategies and integrated offerings – and also the lenders and aggregator BDMs that are best servicing brokers’ evolving needs.
The Better Business Summit will kick off in Brisbane on 18 February. They will then be held in Melbourne on 25 February, Sydney on 3 March, Adelaide on 11 March and Perth on 17 March.
