Developed in collaboration with commuter learning specialist SalesDNA.com.au, through their product PocketDNA, the mobile-friendly program comprises topics such as how to hold people to account, time management, effective presentation and listening skills, and how to conduct a performance review.
Following feedback that some brokers found it difficult to find the time to develop their management skills, the platform was launched to help "time poor" brokers learn while they commute.
Although the program is aimed at brokers, it is also said to be useful for “anyone who is transitioning into a managerial role, is self-employed or simply needing a refresher on managing people”.
Pepper’s new managing director of Australian Mortgages and Personal Loans, Mario Rehayem, commented: “Pepper understands that in the fast paced sector of financial services, many brokers and business owners don’t have the time to attend a course or seminar.
“Running a business is complex and we wanted to provide relevant material to assist brokers.”
SalesDNA director Angus Patterson added: “The commute to work is an ideal time for people to take in content. PocketDNA uses short, sharp animated videos to facilitate learning while the courses allow busy brokers a chance to enhance their learning and fulfil MFAA and FBAA accreditation on their ride into the office.”
