Nominations for the industry’s best brokers, lenders and service providers are now being accepted for The Adviser Better Business Awards 2018.
Now in its fifth year, the Better Business Awards is the first universal industry program for state-based performance, focused on mortgage brokers and the lenders and service providers that support them.

Acknowledging the brokers who are leading the charge — those with the most effective businesses, teams, marketing strategies and integrated offerings — the awards also honour the lenders and aggregator business development managers (BDMs) that are supporting brokers too.
The event also provides a unique opportunity to celebrate the top-performing brokers in each state, who may not always get recognition at a national level, while providing the finalists and winners with the opportunity to leverage local area marketing opportunities.
The 2018 Better Business Awards and Better Business Summit are made possible thanks to principal partner, NAB.
Submissions are now open for both individual and group categories across each state jurisdiction. Awards include:
- Best Residential Broker
- Best Regional Broker
- Best Commercial Broker
- Best Finance Broker
- Best Loan Administrator
- Best Newcomer
- Rising Star
- Best Branded Office
- Best Independent Office
- Best Regional Office
- Best New Office
Participation in the Better Business Awards is open to all brokers and brokerages, regardless of whether they are aligned with a brokerage, an aggregator, a lender or an industry association.
The awards will be hosted as a dinner in each state, following the conclusion of the award-winning Better Business Summit, which delivers practical business tools, training and business intelligence to help brokers build a more productive and profitable business.

Submissions close on Friday, 10 November.
The winners of the awards will be announced at the state-based dinners between 15 February and 15 March in the following venues:
- Brisbane 15 February – Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
- Adelaide 22 February – Adelaide Convention Centre
- Melbourne 1 March – Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
- Sydney 8 March – Hyatt Regency, Darling Harbour
- Perth 15 March – Crown Perth
