TV Financial Services and Planning is proof that this isn’t the case. Tamara Virgo, who runs the Esperance-based brokerage, took home Best Regional Broker, Best Regional Office and Broker of the Year at the 2017 Better Business Awards in Perth back in March.
With a loan book worth more than $140 million, Ms Virgo has achieved what most metropolitan mortgage professionals are still striving for.
Despite its remote location 750 kilometres south of Perth, TV Financial Services prides itself on increasing its business footprint into different areas of Western Australia.
“In order to meet the needs of our growing client base, we have further developed strategic priorities and improved our systems so that geography is no barrier,” Mr Virgo said.
“Our vision is to be the leading financial services provider in our community, empowering and educating people with quality advice and solutions.”
What made Tamara Virgo and her brokerage a standout in 2017 was a passion for the profession and a dedication to delivering first-class service. Part of her philosophy is providing a level of service comparable to what customers can source in the big cities. This has fostered client retention and business growth, ensuring that clients have no need to seek services elsewhere.
In addition to traditional mortgage broking, the group offers financial planning. It also focuses on educating all of its customers. Strategic partnerships and community support programs are also a big feature for this award-wining brokerage.
