This new approach aims to showcase the outstanding achievements of our finalists in each hotly contested category, with each finalist having a dedicated profile page to display their valuable contribution in strengthening Australia’s broking profession.
Major Brokerage of the Year - Franchise
This award recognises the broking franchise group that excelled over the calendar year 2019, based on growth business metrics as well as broker support and servicing.
The award considers the activities, strategies and actions of the corporate in terms of broker recruitment, empowerment and retention as well as the success of individual brokers in supporting the franchise brokerage’s overall growth and development.
There are four finalists for this award: Aussie, Loan Market, Mortgage Choice and Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers.

Office of the Year - Non-Franchise
This award recognises the individual independent office that most effectively drove business growth over the calendar year 2019 across all product sectors, utilising a range of business development principles and tactics.
There are 10 independent offices up for this award, covering five different states in Australia.

The Australian Broking Awards 2020 to be held on 16 July
Now in its 10th year, the Australian Broking Awards program – run in partnership with principal partner NAB – recognises excellence across the entire mortgage and finance broking industry.
This year’s awards will be delivered through our first-ever virtual awards broadcast on the evening of Thursday, 16 July, which will bring the excitement and fanfare straight to your homes as we look to recognise the achievements of talented professionals leading the way.
