Smartline broker Xia Xia Yu was named the Best Newcomer NSW/ACT at the Better Business Awards 2021 earlier this year. We find out how she did it.
After working at Westpac for over a decade, Xia Xia Yu left the bank to set up her own consultancy company helping high-net worth individuals emigrate to Australia. But after realising that these clients frequently needed mortgage support, she decided to become a broker herself, joining the industry in February 2019.
