According to CBA’s executive general manager third party and mobile banking Kathy Cummings, the new functionality will help brokers improve their customer service by printing their customer’s home loan documents and present it to them on the spot.
Ms Cummings said the document printing capability, which is an Australian major bank first, was recognised as the most valued benefit after priority processing by the bank’s leading brokers.
“Feedback from our diamond partners has indicated that improving efficiency, reliability and turnaround times are the key drivers of broker satisfaction and advocacy,” Ms Cummings said.
“By empowering our diamond partners to print documents in their office we are helping them to improve their customer satisfaction, increasing their efficiency and giving them a competitive edge.”
Core Mortgage Brokers principal Brad Parkes said the ability to print documents in the office would not only improve his customer service abilities, but also the speed with which he can turn applications around.
“Documents are not being lost in the post, and if there is an error on the documents, it is fixed within hours, not days. The system appears to be faster than normal, with documents being made available the same day the loan is unconditionally approved,” Mr Parkes said.
