More than 750 delegates from around Australia descended on Adelaide last week for the MFAA’s 15th annual national conference.

Seminars were split into three streams: broker and frontline sales, management and leadership, and business diversification strategies. After-hours events were also part of the agenda.

Richard Smart, national manager of Paladin Wholesale Funding, described the event as an invaluable experience. As one of the 64 exhibitors, he was among many to highlight the event’s balance of technical seminars, networking opportunities and entertainment.

“As this was the first time that we exhibited at a MFAA conference, we found the experience invaluable. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to interact with competitors, existing clients and prospects alike,” says Smart.

CEO of the MFAA, Phil Naylor was extremely pleased with the event’s attendance and overall reception.

“Feedback from attendees has been highly positive and puts the MFAA in an outstanding position for the MFAA 16th National Conference being held in Sydney in May 2008.”
