AFG has partnered with FCB Technology to help its broker partners meet their HR based requirements under the forthcoming legislation.

Under the National Consumer Credit Protection legislation, brokers are required to have comprehensive HR practices in place in order to obtain their credit licence.

According to ASIC, these practices include systems and processes for recruitment, induction and training, succession planning, performance management and termination.

AFG’s general manager sales and operations Mark Hewitt said the partnership between the aggregator and the software provider would make compliance easier for its broker partners.

By adopting the software, brokers will now have access to NCCP compliant HR systems and processes; contractor and employee management systems; contractor and employee hiring, induction, management and termination

Processes as well as 70 template contracts, letters, forms and guides for contractors and employees.

”When the NCCP legislation was introduced, we recognised the HR requirements may be challenging to some businesses. enableHR not only allows a member to cross HR compliance off its list of things it must do to meet the NCCP, but also saves them time and provides greater protection for their business,” Mr Hewitt said.
