Highlighting its commitment to the business broking channel, Bankwest is gearing up to launch an industry first that is widely expected to help boost a broker’s bottom line.

Bankwest’s head of broker sales Aaron Milburn said the lender was in the throes of launching a new client management system.
Going forward, when a broker introduced client calls the Bankwest call centre for further lending, Bankwest will remind them of the broker introduction and offer they go back to the broker for further lending.
“This is an industry first and further highlights our commitment to working in full support of the broker channel,” Mr Milburn said.
Additionally, brokers and their clients can also look forward to dedicated partnership managers that will support brokers place deals with the lender, regardless of industry or deal size.
“Furthermore, we are currently upgrading our website so that brokers can use a website that is clear and concise and houses all the contact numbers for the partnership team nationally and all product information and application forms Re-vamped Accreditation Policy,” Mr Milburn said.
“Bankwest continues its proactive approach in supporting SME business growth and in rewarding brokers that continually choose to work with Bankwest.
“There is more to come and I look forward to improving the partnership we enjoy with brokers.”
