Australian brokers have continued to play a critical role in helping clients access finance with speed and certainty over the last year. Indeed, mortgage brokers wrote a record high of over $100 billion in home loans in the June quarter alone and more and more borrowers continue to turn to the channel for help.
Meanwhile, finance brokers have continued to provide personalised and holistic services to their SME clients along with a wide array of lending options so they can access finance speedily and manage their cash flow.
Now in its 16th consecutive year, the Top 25 Brokerages ranking identifies the biggest and most productive brokerages in Australia, showcasing the efforts of all the brokers operating under that brand name in delighting borrowers.
The Top 25 Brokerages ranking will shine a light on those high-performance groups that have set the bar for the rest of the industry, taking into consideration key business metrics and overall productivity.
There has never been a better time to gain national recognition in the prestigious Top 25 Brokerages ranking, which acknowledges the leading brokerages (both franchise and large independents) that have set the benchmark for the industry.
Submissions close on Friday, 18th October, 5pm AEDT. Submit an entry here.
How does it work?
The ranking is based on five key areas of performance from the financial year ending 30 June 2024.
Each brokerage brand must provide data for the number and volume of loans written across FY24 in residential, commercial, equipment/asset finance, and/or personal loans (and others).
The metrics include:
- Loan book size (segmented by loan type)
- Value of loans settled
- Number of loans settled
- Years in business
- Number of active brokers and loan writers
These five scores are then added to give a final overall score. The lower the score, the better the ranking.
In each submission, brokerages are asked to provide these performance metrics to be independently verified by Agile Market Intelligence through supporting documents.
A brokerage’s rank is determined based on the sum of these metric ranks, equally weighted, to determine Australia’s Top 25 Brokerages.
Following this determination, the highest-performing brokerages are then reranked to determine the brokerages’ final place in the ranking.
To enter this ranking, the entrant must meet the following criteria:
- The brokerage must have a minimum of three brokers/loan writers.
- All brokers/loan writers must operate under the brokerage’s brand (not their own).
With the ongoing evolution of the broking industry, the Top 25 Brokerages 2025 ranking presents brokerages with the opportunity to demonstrate their strengths and capabilities and stand out against the competition. In the entrant’s submission, details relating to the brokerage will need to be validated by the brokerage’s CRM or accountant.
Brokerages that have what it takes to make the Top 25 Brokerages ranking 2025 should submit an entry now.
