Hutcheson has nearly 30 years of experience in the finance industry, having worked as the regional sales executive for Queensland/Western Australia/Northern Territory at Thinktank for the past four years of his 10-year tenure at the lender. Over the past seven years, he helped grow the lender’s Queensland office from a single-person operation into a thriving team.
Prior to this, he was a finance broker for Option One and had been a relationship manager at St.George Bank for 10 years before that.
The commercial brokerage said the “strategic hire” would bolster its ongoing expansion efforts, which are aimed at “strengthening relationships with key partners, clients, and lenders within this important growth market of Queensland”.
Noting his diverse experience across lending, corporate finance, property development, and broking, the brokerage said the new hire had a “deep understanding” of the third-party channel and was “perfectly positioned” to lead Simplicity Loans and Advisory’s growth in Queensland.
In a statement, the brokerage said: “Simplicity Loans and Advisory remains committed to growth and excellence, and Adam Hutcheson’s appointment is a testament to our continued focus on supporting our partners and clients with innovative solutions and exceptional service.
“As we continue to expand, Adam’s expertise will be invaluable in building on the strong foundation we’ve established in New South Wales and Victoria, helping us better serve our Queensland customers and support them in achieving their goals.”
Commenting on his new role at Simplicity Loans and Advisory, Hutcheson said: “I’ve watched with great interest the evolution of Simplicity Loans and Marketplace Finance over the past seven years, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how the business has grown.
“Its customer-centric ethos, strong culture, and unwavering commitment to doing the right thing every time are truly commendable. I’m excited to help bring this value proposition to Queensland."
He said he was looking forward to engaging with individuals and organisations across all facets of the industry, fostering locally based partnerships, and providing solution-focused strategies that deliver real value to all parties.
