Loanworks Technologies has highlighted its commitment to the broker channel with the release of a suite of 3G Smartphone Portals.

The portals can be run on iPhones, iPads, Blacberries, Nokia as well as other smartphones and are designed to help brokers and BDMs communicate with each other and their offices in real time.

“The Loanworks Smartphone Portal range includes features specifically designed for BDM’s, introducers and internal broker sales-forces,” Loanworks Technologies national sales manager Wayne Macartney said.

“The applications allow you to keep track of what’s going on wherever you are, at any time of day or night. If you’re out on the road, you no longer need to access your laptop or make a phone call – you can communicate with the office in real time.”

According to Mr Macartney, the portals have been well received by the industry, with Australian Financial adopting the technology.

Australian Financial’s national sales manager Stephen Lawson said the company’s BDMs now have live and accurate “data about their broker’s loans on their mobile phones”.

“A major benefit of this latest 3G product is the ability to update notes and information from their mobile. The feedback from our brokers across Australia has been fantastic. Brokers can now talk to their BDM about their loans with confidence,” Mr Lawson said.
