Hosted in support of principal partner National Australia Bank (NAB), the awards provide a platform for talented mortgage and finance professionals and businesses across the country to gain recognition for excellence.

Winners will be announced at black-tie gala ceremonies across Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne next year, allowing members of the broking industry to network while honouring the achievements of colleagues. Click here to buy tickets on the awards website.

Why enter?

Following 12 years of setting the benchmark for excellence, the Better Business Awards program honours the remarkable achievements of innovators who consistently drive the industry forward.

The program shines a light on the high-performing members of the broking industry who constantly achieve exceptional results while serving clients’ best interests.

Being named as a finalist or winner of one of these distinguished awards has the potential to transform an entrant’s career trajectory by gaining recognition both professionally and for their business.

This unparalleled awards program encompasses the breadth of the broking industry with 12 individual and eight group categories. Entrants have the option to submit an entry for one, or multiple, award categories.

With a range of categories to enter, the awards recognise professionals across Australia’s broking industry including residential and finance brokers, aggregator business development managers (BDMs), loan administrators, industry thought leaders, and mentors.

Group and individual categories include Best Customer Service (Office), Best New Office, Best Aggregator BDM, Best Residential Broker, and New Broker of the Year.

The highest-scoring individual winner will also be honoured with the coveted Broker of the Year award in each state.

How to enter

Entrants must first identify which categories they are eligible for – or nominate a worthy colleague or brokerage – by reviewing categories here.

Next, the entrant should register an account through the secure awards platform and fill in the details of their submission/s. This can be saved and revisited at any time.

Once the entrant is happy with the submission, it is easy to save and lodge the submission through the platform.

The Better Business Award operates using a peer-reviewed model, with the judging panel composed of senior leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators who work closely with the broker channel to ensure capabilities and passion are measured to the highest standard. Submissions must be received by Thursday, 7 November 2024.
