Mortgage Choice franchisee Nick Cook hosted more than 70 adults and childrenat the previously flood dmaaged Hogs Breath Cafe, including the town’s mayor Janet Pisasale, local councillor Andrew Antoniolli and senior staff from the Commonwealth Bank and ANZ Bank.
“The dinner and drinks night was a family-friendly event organised to help lift the spirits of our numerous flood-affected customers and a thank you to those who lent us a hand. It also provided some income to Hogs Breath, which has been out of action since the floods occurred and has only recently reopened,” Mr Cook said.
“Without the Ipswich community’s ongoing support our business would not exist. My team and I were compelled to help those who help us and others in the local area who needed someone to look out for them,” he said.
“Knowing people in need have benefited from the office’s contributions provides us with tremendous satisfaction.”
