Bankwest will give its premium broker customers a complimentary upfront property valuation.

From today until May 27, the lender’s premium brokers will be able to provide their clients with a property valuation that is free of obligation.

Speaking to The Adviser, Bankwest’s head of specialist banking Ian Rakhit said the property valuation would give brokers and their clients a clear understanding of the property value.

In addition, the valuation should ensure home loan applications are processed faster and without rework.

“Finally, brokers should be pleased to note that once the valuation has been completed, a report will be emailed to them and their client,” he said.

Mr Rakhit said the initiative was developed in response to ongoing broker demand for quicker and reliable property valuations.

“We are the first bank outside of the majors to offer this initiative. Our brokers told us what they wanted and we have delivered,” he said.

The offer is exclusive to Premium Club Broker customers only and is limited to one free valuation per customer.
