The winners’ prize packs for the Australian Broking Awards were today revealed, with the Broker of the Year set to walk away with over $20,000 in cash and prizes.
The Australian Broking Awards will be held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on 15 July 2011. The event will recognise the industry's leading brokers, broking groups and aggregators.

Partnered by the Commonwealth Bank, this prestigious awards luncheon features catering by Matt Moran’s ARIA and will be hosted by Australian TV legend Larry Emdur.
Each of the winners of the Finance Broker of the Year, Residential Broker of the Year and Newcomer of the Year categories will receive prizes totalling over $10,000 in value.
This includes one-one-one coaching with broker business coach Doug Mathlin, an RP Data finance package subscription, a consumer advertising pack with Smart Property Investment, PR consulting services, a monthly consumer newsletter service with TouchPoint, plus a raft of other prizes.
The overall Broker of the Year, which will be selected from the winners of the above individual categories, will also land $10,000 in cash from principal partner the Commonwealth Bank.
According to The Adviser’s group publisher Alex Whitlock, as well as prizes for the winners of the individual awards, each of the finalists of the individual awards will also receive a prize pack valued at over $2,500.
“The Australian Broking Awards have been created to acknowledge the top performing businesses and individuals across the broking industry. These are the groups that are driving the development of the sector as a professional body and represent the cream of our industry.
“As well as receiving the highest accolade, our prize packages will help our individual winners and finalists drive further business growth,” he said.
