Speaking to The Adviser, Liberty Network Services managing director Brendan O’Donnell said Liberty’s new distribution channel would increase competition and promote an increase in broker market share.
“With broker market share currently sitting at 41 per cent we firmly believe that together the industry can grow this to 50 per cent,” Mr O’Donnell said.

Liberty Network Services will launch officially in September.
The retail channel will allow Liberty advisers to open their own Liberty store if they wish, with full support provided by Liberty Financial.
