In a bid to help its broker members take their business “to the top” PLAN Australia has announced its three day conference will focus on providing sound sales tools and best practice marketing.

The conference, which will be held in Darwin on the 26-29 October, will offer brokers a platform to boost their business skills as well as nine workshops and six plenary sessions which cover key factors influencing brokers’ businesses, from the economy and customer trends to achieving best practice.
According to PLAN Australia CEO Trevor Scott, the conference program, themed “taking you to the top”, reflects the evolving broker market while emphasising the opportunities for brokers to continually develop their skills.
“We’re focused on ensuring our members are fully equipped to meet today’s market challenges and opportunities for growth through offering valued added tools and services that elevate their business,” Mr Scott said.
“I believe the theme of this year’s conference ‘Taking you to the Top’ epitomises our focus on supporting brokers to capitalise on the evolving market and ensure that we provide the structure and tools to enable our members to operate at the very top level.”
Mr Scott said the conference offers the perfect platform for brokers to work on their business rather than actually working within it.
“There’s great benefit in taking a few days out of the office to work on your education and unleash new skills. As well as an extensive program of sessions and events, there’s also the chance to network with your peers and exchange your experiences and knowledge,” he said.
