Paul Filippone joins the team with more than 10 years experience in the financial services sector.
St George Banking Group's general manager mortgage broking Clive Kirkpatrick said Mr Filippone's extensive expertise in working with brokers will make him an asset to the Bank of Melbourne team.
"We're really pleased to have Paul on board, his extensive experience in the broking industry, exceptional local knowledge and his previous position with the MFAA in Victoria makes him an exciting addition to the team," he said.
"Paul will lead our team of six business development managers to ensure that we're committed to knowing our broker partners like no one else, to understanding what they need now, and where they want to take their business."
Mr Filippone will start his new role with the Bank of Melbourne this week.
