One of Australia's most recognisable comics and a contender in the upcoming series of Celebrity Apprentice, Vince Sorrenti, has been confirmed as the host of the 2012 Australian Lending Awards.

A joint initiative of The Adviser and RFi, the second annual Australian Lending Awards will be held on the evening of 23 February 2012 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
As one of the country's most loved comics, Mr Sorrenti is a perfect match for the Awards, which have become the industry benchmark for success, according to Alex Whitlock, group publisher of The Adviser.
"Vince has been a great Australian entertainer for many years and we are delighted to have him on board for the 2012 Australian Lending Awards. He is the perfect addition to a night which recognises the lending industry's top performers."
Mr Sorrenti said he looked forward to hosting the prestigious event.
