Macquarie Bank has bolstered its broker service proposition with the launch of a new online portal.

The Macquarie Access portal allows brokers to view client profiles, accounts and contacts details via their smartphones or tablets.

“With availability of Access through a smartphone or tablet, it will also ensure brokers can source the information they need, in their own time at their own pace,” James Casey, head of mortgages product at Macquarie, said.

The portal also includes Macquarie’s other online features, including its online valuation ordering platform, application status tracking, client sites for their mortgage, wrap or insurance clients, and the MAStech library of technical news and updates.

“We’ve been listening to what brokers have been telling us… and Macquarie Access is a direct response to this,” Mr Casey said.

“Brokers will have the ability to check the status of their applications through online status tracking, and when settled they have access to loan account information for their clients.”

Access aims to make a convenient and efficient way of organising data. It also links clients’ addresses to Google maps, making appointments just that little bit easier.
