Last year’s MFAA conference held in Brisbane has been recognised as the best Association Meeting or Event at the NSW Meeting & Events Industry Awards 2012.

The MFAA's win was based on a detailed submission outlining its demonstrated excellence and the service provided to members.
The submission used case studies to highlight the MFAA's role in successfully helping members reach their professional objectives through relevant education and development programs.
MFAA chief executive Phil Naylor said the award is a welcome endorsement of the MFAA's leading industry position, especially in the conference space.
“The MFAA places a very strong emphasis on innovation, service and creativity for all of our 11,400 members around Australia,” he said.
“We are delighted to win the NSW Association or Government Meeting of the Year Award, and are pleased to see that the 2011 Convention was a great success and high value experience for our members. The team continues to work hard to create a relevant, engaging and useful event in Adelaide this May, 2012,” MFAA head of events and sponsorship Paula Kennerson said.
