Liberty Financial has launched a new broker software platform which the lender claims will provide brokers with the first mobile end-to-end broking solution.

The iPad app, commonly referred to as Spark, is not only NCCP compliant, but it allows brokers to engage with customers anywhere, anytime.

Speaking about the launch, Liberty Network Services’ managing director Brendan O’Donnell said the iPad app includes lead management, product searches and recommendation, loan application and submission, and document and customer relationship management.

“While other financial institutions have introduced various mobile devices, we believe this is the first end-to-end software platform,” Mr O’Donnell told The Adviser.

The iPad app is currently being rolled out to all Liberty Network Services advisers and Mr O’Donnell said the lender would soon launch roadshows to show other brokers how the app works.

“This app is two years in the making. We wanted to make sure it had everything brokers need, but we also wanted to ensure it was simple to use and easy to navigate,” he said.

“We have already received some preliminary feedback from our advisers, and they all say it is great. One adviser was actually able to visit a client and submit their loan application before the end of the meeting.

“The industry is rapidly evolving and we want to help our brokers stay ahead of the curve.

"We believe with the rapid take up of the iPad, laptops will gradually become obsolete."
