Mr White ranked in the top 10 of the 132 participants after competing against CEOs from QANTAS, Macquarie Group and Google.
Mr White said he relished his experience in the recent CEO Cookoff, which creates awareness about food security and homelessness while also raising much needed funds for OzHarvest and Mission Australia.
He managed to raise $17,995 for the cause.
Mr White will appear on the Network Ten program tonight and sit alongside Matt Preston to judge contestants.
“This is a great thrill for me to be part of the MasterChef judging panel,” he said.
“I have no claims to any talent in the kitchen but I am a great admirer of the Australian food industry and have always enjoyed watching MasterChef.”
Mr White believes the OzHarvest foundation is a worthy cause, and that as a successful business, has a responsibility to help those in need.
“As a company we have a responsibility to the broader community and it was fantastic to be able to help the disadvantaged,” he said.
“I had great fun joining the many other CEOs and donning an apron to prepare and serve meals for the homeless.
“I learned a lot from the guidance of the celebrity chefs on hand and it’s something I am keen to do again next year.”
