Andrew White, manager of Loan Market Queensland, said while most broker groups protected their information, Loan Market was a strong advocate of transparency.
"Our growth depends on mutual success and we want to give our lender partners every tool possible to do their jobs, and reach their goals,” Mr White said.
“In Queensland we work collaboratively for mutual success. It makes sense to be transparent. We even sit down and share business plans. I love our relationship with our lenders."
Mr White said under Loan Market’s transparency doctrine, a complete broker list is included in each monthly Lender Communication Newsletter and also sent to all lender state managers and business development managers.
He said they are also issued with an up-to-date lender market share report as well as a six monthly average ranking of the state's brokers.
Mr White claims the system works on trust, and that his broker list falling into the hands of the opposition is nothing they can’t handle.
"I think we trust our lender partners enough to give them everything, why wouldn't we?
“And even if one person did pass it on, I back our model and our team to be impervious to any recruitment drive.
“Happy brokers, happy managers and happy lenders make a strong team, I am proud of being transparent, and so is my team."
