A Hunter Valley local has been recognised as the world champion finance consultant by LJ Hooker.

Last week, Ben Eick, principal of LJ Hooker Financial Services Hunter Valley, was presented with the World Champion Finance Consultant (number of settlements) award for the fifth consecutive year at the 2012 LJ Hooker awards held in Sydney.
In addition, the broker also walked away with the national award for Top Finance Franchise for the second year in a row, the Gold Medal for achieving in excess of $40million in settlements in the past 12 months and two state awards for Top Finance Consultant Number of Settlements, first place, and Volume of Settlements, second place.
“Ben has been recognised by his peers, the LJ Hooker real estate network in the Hunter Valley, as a savvy business person with a determination to help people realise their homeowner’s dreams,” LJ Hooker chief executive officer L. Janusz Hooker said.
Commenting on the awards, Mr Eick said he was humbled to win.
“To win the Top Finance Franchise for the second year running is a great achievement and an award that reflects the enormous effort from the entire team,” Mr Eick said.
“I was also thrilled to get the Gold Medal as this is the first time I have received this award and shows that there is still room for improvement.
“I’d like to thank my team for their hard work over the past 12 months, as well as the fantastic support of the LJ Hooker network.”
