Smartline managing director Chris Acret said the top performing franchisees recognised at the awards continued to find ‘smarter’ ways to run their businesses.
“Our award winners this year show that no matter what the market – and it’s fair to say that it’s been patchy – good operators will do well,” he said.
“Our high achievers are typically client champions who have a real focus on looking after their clients – and that’s very much the Smartline model and point of difference.
“They’re innovators who are continuously looking for efficiencies and smarter way of doing things in their business, making full use of specialist systems and support.
“They’re also great relationship marketers who are active with their clients and in their community.”
Winners included Cathy Anderson, who took home the Franchise Owner of the Year award (3 + people), Todd Haffner, who won Franchise Owner of the Year (1-2 people), Karen Le Comte and Jillian Clifford.
Sheryl Smith took home the Client Care Award while Sin Cacic collected the Rookie of the Year award.
