Ruan Burger from Time Home Loans took home the coveted Mortgage Broker of the Year award for the second consecutive year.
Other winners included Marissa Schulze from Rise High Financial Solutions, who took home the Achievement award, Michelle Bannister who took home the BDM of the Year award and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia – which claimed the Tier 1 Lender of the Year award.
Aussie claimed the big award on the night – the MFAA Award of Distinction.
Speaking about the results, MFAA chief executive Phil Naylor told The Adviser that he was pleased and proud to see such a fine group of finalists in this year’s awards.
“We had the highest number of finalists we have ever had,” Mr Naylor said.
“Which just goes to show how good the competition was this year – the judges couldn’t decide on a few finalists because they literally couldn’t separate them.
“A big congratulation goes out to all of our winners and finalists. With finalists of this calibre, I can safely say that the future of the mortgage industry is in good hands.”
