Last week, LJ Hooker’s head of Home Loans, Paul O’Regan, said the company planned to grow its national franchise network by approximately 25 per cent over the next 12 months.
“In the immediate short term, we are looking at recruiting about 30 new home loan franchisees across our national territory,” he said.
“Mortgage broking with LJ Hooker Home Loans is the ideal career for anyone wanting to run their own business with the endorsement of a recognised brand.”
LJ Hooker Home Loans’ Katherin Dermanis said she wouldn’t be surprised to see the group attract women to the profession.
“More and more women are joining the industry and younger females are making a long-term career out of mortgage broking,” she said.
“It has been the most rewarding career I’ve ever had, and there are fantastic opportunities for the right people.”
