The Commercial Asset Finance Brokers Association (CAFBA) has expressed their disappointment in losing Bruce Billson as the federal government’s Minister for Small Business.
Mr Billson left the small business portfolio as a result of the government’s cabinet reshuffle, following Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull’s ascension to his new position earlier this month.

CAFBA said it wishes to thank Mr Billson for taking the time to understand the issues around access to finance for SMEs and for actively engaging with the association.
“Bruce Billson undertook his role of Minister for Small Business with great enthusiasm and energy, and whilst there is still much to do, Bruce Billson’s impact was notable,” CAFBA vice president David Gandolfo said.
Mr Gandolfo said he was delighted to have served on Mr Billson’s ministerial advisory committee, and looks forward to the same level of engagement with the new minister, Kelly O’Dwyer.
