In a bid to grow its network of brokers and planners, Australian Capital Home Loans has launched its independent financial planning arm, Australian Capital Financial Planning.

After a soft launch in 2010, the Australian Capital Group of companies comprising Australian Capital Home Loans, Australian Capital Financial Planning and Australian Capital Property Acquisitions, is launching its full service financial advice opportunity to brokers and planners.

As an independent group, Australian Capital offers planners the ability to diversify their advice offering under the company’s ACL, AFSL and Real Estate Licence and provide a broader offering than the big banks and insurance companies.

Australian Capital’s managing director Barry Parker said it’s all about assisting a customer through their full financial life.

“We want our customers to get the best deal on every aspect of their financial lives,” he said.

According to Mr Parker, diversification is the future of the industry.

“I’ve always seen a strong relationship between financial planning and home loans, and I want to make that a priority for our Financial Services Consultants,” he said.

“We find that our clients aren’t just after financial planning services, they want a relationship for their full financial life.”

Mr Parker is currently on a recruitment drive for financial services consultants to join Australian Capital and grow their own businesses.
