Australia’s unemployment rate has decreased 0.1 points to 5.7 per cent in September.
Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed employment had increased by 40,600 jobs to 10,805,600.

Full-time employment increased by 35,400 to 7,589,800 and part-time employment increased by 5,200 to 3,215,800.
The male unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points to 5.8 per cent, while the female unemployment rate remained stagnant at 5.6 per cent.
