“Whenever you win an award where the competition is of such a high calibre, it is deeply satisfying,” he said.
“Moreover, this award recognises quality business and high levels of productivity, which makes it even more exciting to win. We have been the bridesmaid for some time, so it is good to finally be the bride. We have injected a lot into our business and the individual businesses of our brokers.
“Over the last 12 months we have offered our brokers greater support by way of credit coaches, local area marketing, and lead generation techniques and it is good to see that extra commitment paying off.”
Co-Sponsor of the ranking, Citibank’s head of mortgages Vibha Coburn said the lender was proud to support the broking channel through any means possible.
“Citibank has been in the broker market since we first got our license in 1985. The broker market is very dear to us. It accounts for over 75 per cent of our volumes. We support the industry very strongly and it makes sense for us to support the top performing brokerages in the space.
"With that said, I would just like to congratulate Aussie on their win," she said.
Her thoughts were echoed by the ranking’s other co-sponsor, RP Data’s chief executive Graham Mirabito.
“We are proud to partner with Citibank and The Adviser on this particular ranking. We have partnered with Aussie for the past two years and we have seen firsthand how committed this company is to the ongoing professionalism and excellence of its brokers,” he said.
“Aussie have stepped up and taken RP Data to every single branch and now 82 per cent of their network engages with RP data on a weekly basis. This is a high level of engagement and it shows how dedicated this company is to its brokers and how committed its brokers are to going above the call of duty for their clients.”
