Commonwealth Bank has signed on as principal partner of The Adviser’s awards for the fourth year running and has also pledged its support for the next two years.
CBA’s general manager of broker sales, Sam Boer, said the bank was proud to recognise outstanding brokers because CBA is also committed to excellence.
“The award winners embody the professionalism of the industry and reflect the qualities and capabilities needed to succeed in a competitive market,” he said.
“Aspiring brokers can then learn how the award winners have developed and cultivated these qualities and continue to improve overall professional standards across the industry.”
Mr Boer said the Australian Broking Awards played an important role in bringing the industry together.
“The awards also provide the industry’s elite with a powerful marketing tool that can help generate business opportunities,” he said.
Meanwhile, NAB Broker and Citi have signed on as platinum partners for the awards, Suncorp Bank, Bankwest and Pepper have been confirmed as gold partners and St George will be the event’s entertainment partner.
