Mr D’Vaz worked at Bluestone from 2000-2007, and then served as Challenger Mortgage Management state manager and NAB Broker regional manager for South Australia and Western Australia.
His new role will be to increase settlement volumes and better service the broker network, according to Bluestone.
Chief operating officer Peter Wood revealed last month that Bluestone had averaged month-on-month settlement volume growth of 50 per cent since re-entering the specialist market in 2013.
“Following the introduction of new product offerings in January, Bluestone has more than doubled its sales team to keep pace with loan volume growth and to support its broker network,” Mr Wood said.
“In order to continue the great momentum from the first half of the year, we felt it was critical to hire a strong national sales manager to support the Bluestone team.”
Mr D’Vaz said there are many opportunities for Bluestone and its broker network as the specialist lending market regains ground from the GFC.
“Post-GFC, there are many brokers that are new to the industry who are keen to meet the needs of their clients with responsible and transparent products,” he said.
“Now is a great time for Bluestone to engage with the broker community to share knowledge and experience of the specialist loan market.”
