Industry veteran to share top tips on best practice

One of the mortgage broking industry’s most experienced CEOs has announced a unique seminar for brokers looking to boost their business and improve best practice.

Michael Russell, former CEO of Choice Aggregation Services and more recently Mortgage Choice Limited, has specifically designed the three-hour seminar to share what he regards as best practices to truly facilitate positive business transformation.

"Unlike other seminars which tend to focus on ‘what brokers should do’ and ‘why they must do it’, this seminar will specifically focus on the ‘how to do it’ in order to allow brokers to leave the seminar and be immediately empowered to implement the changes that make commercial sense to their business," Mr Russell told The Adviser

The seminar will commence with delegates being asked to self-assess their business against a special scorecard that uses 20 best practice benchmarks Mr Russell has developed.

"The same process will then be undertaken against a secondary scorecard to assess whether delegates are genuinely giving best efforts in their business," he said.

The event is sponsored by all four major banks, as well as ALI Group and National Property Buyers.

Topics covered in the seminar include the 10 common denominators shared by successful brokers, the life time value (LTV) of a single borrower versus an advocate, and how brokers can garner more advocates in their business.

Key dates and additional information about the event will be announced in due course.
