“The business has grown and progressed to a point where we need someone in this role to continue the momentum we have already created,” Byblos Finance director George Karam said.
“Corey is a well-rounded leader who brings with him diverse sales and operations experience, with the drive and energy to take Byblos to the next level.”
Mr Beaver has more than 13 years’ experience in sales and operations, including roles at Capify Australia, Dell, Loan Services Australia and ING.
He told The Adviser he was attracted to the position at Byblos Finance because it was an opportunity to further an already successful business.
“George Karam has a clear vision, which got me excited to return to the industry [after] having spent some time outside financial services,” Mr Beaver said.
“Byblos is already a leader in the commercial broker space, and the plan is to leverage that success by offering our customers a wider and diverse product range to suit their needs.”
