Suncorp has successfully rolled out the first round of its SME Masterclass Series, delivering valuable insights into how brokers can grow their business by helping small businesses with all their lending needs.
“The Masterclass Series was designed to equip brokers with a deeper understanding of small business lending to put them in the best position to take advantage of this energised market,” Ms Frost said.
“The positive feedback reinforced the demand from brokers for strengthened support to enter the small lending market. As a bank committed to delivering value for our brokers and their customers, we were proud to deliver this support.”
In the first SME Masterclass Series, attendees heard from Stuart Donaldson, founder of Banyan Co, who reinforced the need for brokers to maintain strong connections with their customers and position themselves as trusted advisers.
“He highlighted how brokers can remove financial complexities for their customers, and outlined how to determine their customers’ business priorities through assessing productivity, profit, cash and financial strength,” Ms Front said.
Suncorp Bank will host the next round of the SME Masterclass Series in April.
“We see our broker partners as business partners, and are committed to investing in our broker proposition to ensure they can also deliver a consistently good service to their customers,” Ms Frost said.
