Advantedge has responded to broker demand by introducing two new tools that will significantly reduce the time it takes to submit a loan application.

The NAB-owned mortgage funder has adopted NextGen.Net’s ApplyOnline platform, which brokers can use for their PLAN Lending, ChoiceLend and FASTLend loan applications.

Advantedge general manager Brett Halliwell said brokers are now able to create an application using Podium, finalise application details using ApplyOnline and submit the application for assessment.

“The ApplyOnline functionality allows us to give brokers access to a better, faster and more convenient lodgement process,” Mr Halliwell said.

Advantedge has also created a new valuation tool which determines the most appropriate valuation type for a loan – automated, desktop, kerbside, short form or long form.

The valuation tool uses an algorithm to make the decision, assessing credit policy, loan profile and available customer information.

“Brokers have told us they want faster valuations. The launch of this tool means we can give more customers automated valuations which can be processed in a matter of minutes,” Mr Halliwell said.

“This enhancement will ultimately deliver brokers and customers a much better service experience.”
