Tony Walden, the general manager of group operations at Pepper, has passed away at the age of 63.
Mr Walden, who had been with Pepper since 2005, was responsible for all operational aspects of loan origination and servicing activities including collections, leasing and customer service.

He passed away on Sunday, 8 January and his funeral was held in Mittagong, NSW, on Thursday, 12 January. Mr Walden is survived by his wife, Dawn, and children Ashleigh, Hayley and Glenn.
Pepper has released the following statement: “Tony joined Pepper Group in 2005 and, as general manager of operations, he was instrumental in managing all operational aspects of loan origination and servicing activities including collections, leasing and customer service.
“Tony had such a positive impact on the company and staff over his 12 years at Pepper. He helped guide the group through many successful milestones and was integral in helping Pepper get to the position we are in today. He has left a legacy at Pepper that will last well into the future and beyond.
“Our thoughts are with Tony's family at this time. He will be truly missed."
Prior to joining Pepper, Mr Walden served as head of operations for ANZ’s wholesale lending arm, Origin, and successfully implemented and launched the ANZ Mortgage Broking Unit in Perth.
He previously managed the entire lending activities including origination, product development and servicing for the Retail and Commercial arm of Town and Country Bank in Perth.
