Thinktank bolsters support team

Melbourne

Specialist commercial property lender Thinktank has announced five key appointments across Sydney and Melbourne.

The non-bank’s chief executive, Jonathan Street, said Thinktank’s focus since the business was established in 2006 has been to provide a clear alternative in commercial property lending.

“An alternative where service, flexibility, reliability and value are ingrained in everything we do,” Mr Street said.

“These appointments will continue to build on this commitment, allowing us to further expand our capability and service to our clients and network of introducers throughout Australia.”

In Melbourne, new relationship manager (RM) Joel Harrison has joined senior RM Tony Zaccari to assist in the rapid growth of the Victorian office.

In Sydney, Thinktank’s head office has been significantly boosted with the appointments of Joel James as an assistant manager to add greater support for the RM team, Chrissi Sutherland in executive and sales administration, Scott O’Neill in credit administration, Joy Diehm in finance, and Claire Byrne returning from maternity leave to further strengthen the sales team as a senior assistant manager.

“It’s an exciting period of growth for the company, especially as we will soon reach the significant milestone in writing $1 billion in loans,” Mr Street said.

“But we are acutely aware that to remain competitive and stay true to our purpose we need to continue bringing fresh ideas and perspectives into the company, which is why we are extremely excited with our latest wave of appointments.”
