Firstfolio’s general manager of third party distribution Andrew Russell said now was the right time to rename Lawfund under the Firstfolio brand.
“The name change follows a range of investments to enhance our aggregation service and build distribution,” Mr Russell said.
“Our network partners have responded well to the Firstfolio One opportunity, encouraged by the greater transparency, reward for performance and chance to sub-aggregate and grow their earnings.
“We have 70 high-performing brokers signed on, all of whom have provided positive and constructive feedback, and we’re seeing a healthy increase each month in the amount of loans being written.”
According to Mr Russell, the newly rebranded aggregation group also expects to see a healthy increase in new broker signings over the next six to 12 months.
“There is a clear demand for a premium aggregation service in the market right now, we have been first to market with an innovative service that will continue to resonate amongst high performing and rising stars,” he said.
Firstfolio initially acquired 42 per cent of Lawfund Aggregation in 2006 and a further 39 per cent in 2007.
