LoanKit, the aggregation arm of Mortgage Choice, has announced the appointment of Patricia (Trish) Taylor as its new business development manager (BDM).

The appointment supports the aggregator’s plans to grow its broker network after re-launching the six year old business in April this year.

According to LoanKit head Kym Rampal, Ms Taylor’s new role will primarily involve recruiting new brokers into the LoanKit fold.

“Trish is well equipped to provide the direction, leadership and coaching needed to ensure we not only recruit well but that we build upon the service we provide to our existing broker network,” Rampal said.

“By creating this new role, we are reinforcing LoanKit’s commitment to improving the reach of our business and strengthening the value of each of our broker’s businesses.”

Ms Taylor said she planned to attract quality brokers to LoanKit’s national network while adhering to a solid business plan and maintaining the integrity of the brand.

“One of my major goals is to drive the interest of established brokers looking for an aggregator that fills a gap in the market by providing the highest quality business systems, processes and advice without handcuffing members to its lender panel.”
